The controversial "well-behaved kids" menu goes viral on social media: "Healthy food is a punishment."

Having a good relationship with food, especially during childhood, is essential for a healthy life and thus prevents eating disorders . Therefore, the little ones in the house should learn to eat all kinds of dishes, although in a hotel restaurant, food can also be an indicator of who is "behaving well."
As Soy Camarero shared on his X profile, formerly Twitter , a hotel has created two different children's menus, depending on who respects the rules and who doesn't . "What do you think of this menu?" the content creator wrote alongside a photo of the menu.
So, on the one hand, there's the "well-behaved children" menu, which includes homemade croquettes or noodle soup for the first course and meatballs with potatoes or chicken nuggets for the second course. Dessert includes ice cream of your choice, flan, or custard. A completely normal menu if it weren't for its contrast.
And for children who "misbehave," there's also a very different menu. Far from being able to choose, they only get sautéed chard for the first course, boiled fish for the second , and, for dessert, "off to the kitchen to wash the dishes." A decision that didn't seem right to everyone.
The post has already been viewed more than 48,000 times, and despite the fact that this image has been circulating on social media for some time, it has caused a huge impact. Many users have shared their opinions, which couldn't be more divided.
On the one hand, some people claim it's normal, and on the other, others think it's completely wrong. "You know it's a way to try to encourage children to behave, right? Because, judging by the comments, it seems like some people think they're going to make the kids do the dishes," one user wrote.
"Eating well shouldn't be a punishment, nor should food have moral connotations. Nutrition education begins with example and respect, not emotional blackmail," another user explained.
